- We had our best trip ever to the Cinaruco. Water was high (what else is new) but the big ones would come out of the sticks for the topwaters. I had my best day ever catching 5 over 8 lbs, 3 over 9 lbs, a 10.6, a 11.3, and a 12.2 all on the same day on big woodchoppers. Lefty Perez had big fish at 12.6. Very hot and rained like hell every afternoon except for one day. We were first in camp and had a great time. Tu Amigo, Bob
- Naturally, they caught these lunkers on the trip that I did not make with them!
- "This is an ad for the Cinaruco Bass Lodge, located on the Cinaruco River is Western Venezuela. The camp is owned and operated by Fernando Rosales. His ad features my good friends Doug Kralik and Bob Hohl."
- Gang, If you are here...then you can see what is probably the world record piranha caught on ultralight tackle. A four pounder, caught on 6 pound test with ultralight tackle. The lure was a 1/8 ounce panther martin. The location was the Cinaruco River, in Western Venezuela, during lunch break. Lunch was delicious as well.
